We are so excited to see you in-person for the 14th Annual SPEAK Walk! Pre-walk festivities and the SPEAK Walk will be held at Carmichael Park.
SPEAK starts with a week of educational activities with students and will culminate with a walk. The walk helps bring awareness to the severity of teen suicide while also working to educate the community and break down the stigmas which surround mental illness.
Registration is now OPEN!
Registration includes a swag bag with a t-shirt, SPEAK candle and mental health resources which participants can pick up the day of the walk.
*Proceeds from this event will go towards future SPEAK projects

The Brighton Youth Commission will be offering 75 minute QPR courses for the community for FREE!

Ceasefire Colorado Presentation & Community Conversation

Location: Brighton Armory Performing Arts Center, 300 Strong St.
The Brighton Youth Commission invites you to join us for an important presentation from Ceasefire Colorado focused on gun violence awareness, safety, and prevention. This event will provide crucial information, real-life insights, and practical strategies to help promote safter communities.
Following the presentation, we will have a community wide conversation on gun safety with representatives from the Brighton Police Department and School District 27J to share the roles their teams play in student safety.
